[Photo] 1 out of every 4 Seoul apartments valued at US$835,260 or more

One out of every 4 apartments sold in Seoul this year has fetched 1 billion won (US$835,260) or more, according to the data released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT) on Sept. 29. As of Aug 27, 26,121 apartments were sold this year. Among them, 20% (5,230) were valued at less than 1 billion won, while 1,106 (4.2%) were valued at more than 2 billion won (US$1.67 million), meaning one out of every four apartments sold in Seoul is valued as 1 billion won or more. Only 10 apartments valued at more than 2 billion won were located outside Seoul. (Yonhap News)
