[Photo] Samsung reveals new horizontally foldable phone design at developer conference in California

Samsung Electronics revealed its new foldable phone design during its Developer Conference in San Jose, California, on Oct. 29. Jeong Hye-soon, head of Samsung’s framework research and development team, showed attendees a mock-up of the new phone, which folds in half horizontally, much like a flip phone. Jeong went on to say that the new “clamshell” design is going to “change the way people use smartphones.” (Smartphone Global Newsroom)
