Turning our attention to Haiti

Turning our attention to Haiti.
A young Korean person on a treadmill watches the news coverage of Haiti’s recent earthquake catastrophe. On the screen, a young Haitian child cries in the midst of the rubble caused by the earthquake while eating a mud cake. Haiti is so poor as a nation that some of the children have resorted to eating mud cakes to stave off their hunger.

A banner that hangs on the wall, however, reads “Dieting is My New Year’s Goal.”
